But if that wasn’t enough, a 10K Monster Beach Run also takes part during the same day. Also on October 21st, the area hosts a Fall Festival that is fun for the entire family. So if you are in town, make sure that you take your kids to this very fun event. Pony rides, bounce houses and a petting zoo and a costume contest are all activities at this yearly festival by the beach. New Smyrna Beach is home to many different artists and there is always something creative going on in the city. There are several workshops being offered here year-round so if you want to try your hand at making something unique, there is ample opportunity. There are many more events happening in the area so finding something fun to do on the weekend isn’t hard. If you are interested in the nightlife, the area has a lot of bars, pubs, and clubs to choose from. Sopotnicks Cabbage Patch Bar is one of the most popular bars in the region and they often host their own events. Car shows and bikers week are two very popular events at this establishment.
